MSW Surf Forecast App Reviews

Great app but it would be nice to have a version optimized for iPad. Also a little glitchy and crashes at times.

Not sure what the pro have to offer. But the app as is seems to do great

App is close for Tofino BC location. Tides are correct but I do question the accuracy of the wind and wave forecast. The buoy is only two miles away and I would have expected the accuracy to be a bit closer than it actually is. Second buoy is not that far and would help in calculating winds on MSW. That being said, if I take their data and average it with the other 3 apps I use it gives me a more complete picture. Overall a good app.

Gets the job done. Not sure the upgrade really did anything, but happy to support. Gets me to the beach at the right times. Use it daily.

Taking a while to get used to the new version but figuring it out. In a month I would give it a 5. Had to do the review now because of the notice that kept popping up.

Love magicseaweed. The app makes it a lot easier to check the forecast than having to go online. Usually very accurate forecast. Great to check for after-work swells!

MSW is great, it has an inclusive feel to it. I absolutely love all the pictures you guys and gals post on MSW. Thank you for your contribution to the World Wide Surfing community. I had various great surfing adventures thanks to msw.

Preferred the long range forecast in the homescreen as opposed to under favourites tab. The addition of water temp is a nice feature.

Great resource and relevant reading/video. Would be nice to include all the surf spots on the West Coast of Vancouver Island but maybe in time... Florencia Beach, Wick Beach etc. but the big ones are listed. Reliable, as accurate as they come.

Perfect for a quick view of the waves forecast. You have to consider a certain percentage of mistakes as every kind of weather forecasts. But very detailed!

Always use this before heading to the beach. Pretty accurate.

Im 1500km from the nearest wave, and this app gets me stoked every day.

I live right on the beach but still use it as the first choice to check all the local breaks.
